Japanese Martial Arts Center

City Dojo is Wellington’s newest and most vibrant centre for Japanese martial arts – Judo and Aikido. It is a collaboration between two long-established clubs, Riai Aikido Wellington and the Wellington Judo Academy.

Our modern and spacious dojo is in the Animates Building, Kaiwharawhara. It forms a hub for like-minded students and groups to gather and train. Adult and junior beginners welcome.

We have additional space available so expressions of interest from other martial arts clubs are welcome, as are inquires for the use of this dojo space for specific events.
